Silver Star Capital

Overview

Silver Star Capital needed a website to build trust, attract investors, and convert leads. The site had to showcase services, meet U.S. real estate compliance, and stand out from outdated competitors—while coexisting with Alcyona Group’s e-commerce brands without causing confusion.

Goals
  1. Establish credibility on first click
Investors won’t touch a firm without a proper site. This meant showing legal legitimacy, clear disclaimers, and a design language that felt serious, modern, and professional.

  2. Optimize for conversions and mobile traffic
Most leads come in via phone — so mobile UX wasn’t a nice-to-have. Every screen needed to load fast, feel premium, and guide users toward booking a call or sending a message.

  3. Differentiate from outdated competitors
Many small investment firms have generic, clunky websites. My goal was to stand out quietly — with a minimalist identity, clean UX, and clarity that speaks louder than fluff.

My Role + Responsibilities

Led strategy, UX, UI, and front-end dev for Silver Star Capital’s investor site. Built trust-focused design that increased investor inquiries 4× in the first month.

Team

Solo project with legal review support. I handled everything from research and wireframes to design, dev, SEO, and compliance.

Problem

Problem

Problem

Silver Star Capital, a new real estate investment firm, needed a credible digital presence to attract investors and partners. Before this project, the company had no online presence, which hurt trust and deal flow — over 90% of investor leads expected a professional website before engaging further.

The challenge:

  • Build trust fast in a credibility-first industry

  • Clearly communicate the company’s legal standing (as a new Wyoming LLC)

  • Drive inbound investor interest through design, not just content

This case study focuses on solving that one problem: launching a lean, trust-building website that converts skeptical investors into serious leads.

Research

Research

Research

I started by benchmarking 15 competitor websites across the real estate investment space. Key patterns emerged:

  • Firms with modern, responsive sites converted up to 40% more

  • Legal transparency, performance, and clarity of services were major credibility drivers

To validate assumptions, I surveyed 8 prospective investors and 3 sellers. Their top expectations:

  • Clearly displayed legal details

  • Mobile-first performance

  • Professional, modern UI

  • Simple way to contact or book a call

Development

Development

Development

I led a 4-week sprint covering strategy, UX, UI, and front-end development.

Week 1 – Structure + Flow

  • Mapped out key user journeys: discovery → trust-building → conversion

  • Wireframed all pages around high-value actions (contact, consultation)

Week 2 – Visual Identity

  • Developed a minimalist, modern aesthetic using serif/sans-serif font pairing

  • Color palette: charcoal for authority, cream for warmth and approachability

Weeks 3–4 – High-Fidelity Design + Build

  • Designed and built a responsive site optimized for fast load (1.2s desktop, 1.5s mobile)

  • Added clear CTAs on every page, including contact forms and scroll-triggered buttons

  • SEO foundations: high-intent keyword targeting, technical setup, Google Search Console integration

  • Included all required legal disclaimers and registration details to build immediate trust
